Materials
Adjustable, Because Necks Differ
Two 50×70 cm pillows with a fill you can add to or remove, so you can set the loft to your own neck rather than to an average. Side sleepers usually want it full; front sleepers usually want it half empty. The cotton cover breathes, so the pillow doesn't turn into a heat trap by 3 a.m.

THE DIFFERENCE
Why 100% Cotton Changes Everything
-
Pure fibre
Harvested cotton is cleaned and spun into long-staple yarn. No polyester, no filler.
-
Woven for feel
The yarn is woven at a density chosen for softness and airflow rather than for the highest possible thread-count number.
-
Washed before it ships
Every piece is pre-washed so it arrives soft and stays true to size.

OUR STORY
Made for the warm side of the door
Boreal Loom began in Vancouver in 2019, in the middle of a long, wet winter — with one blanket, and one question: why shouldn’t everyday comfort feel this good?
Every piece since has been chosen for a moment rather than a specification. The evening on the sofa. The slow morning. The cold night that stays outside.
Because when it’s cold out there, what happens in here matters more.

Frequently Asked Questions
Machine wash cold or warm on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. No bleach, no fabric softener. Iron on low if you want a crisper finish.
Yes — no polyester, no blend. Blending in polyester makes fabric cheaper and helps it hold a press, but it also traps heat and holds odour. Pure cotton breathes, stays comfortable across the year and gets better with use.
Everything is pre-washed before it ships, so any relaxation has already happened. Wash cold and dry on low and it will hold its size. Hot water and a hot dryer are what cause shrinkage in natural fibres.
There's a zipped opening in the inner casing. Take fill out for a lower, flatter pillow; put it back in for a higher one. Adjust it a handful at a time and give each setting two or three nights before changing it again.
Side sleepers generally need the most height, to keep the neck in line with the spine. Back sleepers want medium. Front sleepers want as little as possible. Start at full if you sleep on your side, half if you don't.
Shipping is free anywhere in Canada. Orders are processed in 1–3 working days and travel for 6–10 more, so most arrive within 8 to 14 working days with a tracking link. See our Shipping Policy for the full detail.
